A park for the whole family!

Families are important guests for the Park of Gardens. For this reason, we offer them a very special service and special offers. By the way: The Park of Gardens has been awarded the "Especially child-friendly" certificate since 2012!

Free offers

  • Free admission for children and young people under 18 (accompanied by an adult)
  • Park rally "The worm is in there" for children up to 10 years old
  • Actionbound rally "Crack the climate code" for children aged 10 and over
  • Handcart hire at the ticket office
  • Two playgrounds (water and climbing playground) and other play equipment in various areas of the park
  • Changing tables at four locations
  • Special children's events (e.g. playing in the park during the summer holidays)

  • Special children's meals in the park catering (on request)
  • "Schule im Grünen" (The outdoor school)for kindergartens and school classes - a recognised extracurricular learning location since 2007
  • Organised children's birthday parties (5 to 11 years)
  • Holiday pass activities during the summer holidays

Playgrounds

There is a climbing and a water playground in the Park of Gardens. Both playgrounds were expanded in spring 2024 to include barrier-free and inclusive play equipment and now offer even more fun for everyone.

Activities

"Spielen im Park" (Playing in the park)

"Spielen im Park" (Playing in the park) is like an adventure trip into nature. The two-week programme during the summer holidays focuses on playing and working in and with nature. Fun tasks, an exciting rally with tricky questions and much more await the children (and their companions, of course).  In addition, the park with its playgrounds and open lawns invites children to run around, jump and be creative.

The programme is rounded off by changing offers from various cooperation partners, who invite you to actively participate with their play stations.
